"Here lies Topherus, High Lord of House Lothaire, fallen in battle against the vile enemy. He died like he lifed, standing on his feet, facing his foes in battle, giving his last breath with dragonblade in hand. He carved a legend in bloody slaughter, a veteran of a hundred battles, with not a single scar on his back, a true knight, a trusted brother in arms, Lord Protector of the 27th banner.
While we mourn his death, we celebrate his life, true to his oath, to defend those, who could not defend themself, as was his calling. May his sacrifice burn across the heavens like a shooting star, short, bright, but never forgotten.
